HERE TO SERVE
from Pathways Church · host Kristin Nelson
What does it mean to truly live as a follower of Jesus? We are here to serve. In this message, Pastor Ben challenges us to look beyond ourselves and use the gifts, strength, and freedom God has given us to serve others. From the example of Jesus washing His disciples’ feet to the everyday opportunities we have to serve the people around us, we’re reminded that following Jesus means choosing humility, love, and action. God has uniquely gifted each of us—and those gifts aren’t just for us. They’re meant to be used to bless others and bring glory to God. The question is: Who will you serve?

What this episode covers
The New Testament is filled with simple but powerful commands that shape the life of the church — “love one another,” “forgive one another,” “encourage one another,” and more. These “one another” passages reveal God’s design for Christian community: not just belief in isolation, but a lived-out faith expressed through relationships marked by grace, humility, and love. In this series, we’ll explore what it means to follow Jesus together in everyday life. As we look at these practical and challenging instructions, we’ll discover how the gospel transforms the way we treat each other — building a church that reflects the heart of Christ to the world around us.
