Here's a fun rule, it's called the 8020 rule, maybe not exactly the way you've heard it before.

from Transformed Life 2 Min Encouragement · host Daniel C Clark

Here's a fun rule, it's called the 8020 rule, maybe not exactly the way you've heard it before. But I like this rule. It says this, that only 20% of everything you do has to be perfect. That means that 80% doesn't have to be perfect. That means that how your house looks or where you park the car in the driveway, or how you park when you go to work, or how you put your clothes away and your drawers, things just don't have to be perfect, they can be just good enough to go by. Right? That means that 20% of the things that you do, really do need to be perfect. And when we put way too much effort in the things that must be perfect, that don't really have to be perfect. We take a lot of time judging ourselves. So let's practice the 8020 rule. Only really focus on perfection on the things that have to be and give yourself some room for the things that don't have to be. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
