Hi, I'm Megan Zagara and I'm Eric DeMatt. And this is the Daily Dish, Bravo's official podcast. All right, well we have a lot to talk about today. Not only Bravo related, but a little personal story that we wanted to share.
Yeah, you're fascinated by my pain. I'm not fascinated. I'm mortified and terrified. So Eric and I went to an adult skate party and broke one together.
Yeah. Some other friends. I mean, if I adult we mean it was for grownups, not like an adult themed one. It's not much better.
So I feel like a leather party could be a fish party, but there's also smaller skis. I mean, it was Lady Gaga and Madonna. I mean, I had to go to the team. So Arizona and Gaga could go into that.
I mean, it's an adult leather, whatever maybe. OK, so it's this roller rink, but it's not like a wooden ones. I remember it's concrete. Yeah, well it's a pop up.
Not concrete, it's pavement. Right. Oh yeah, it's pop up. So it wasn't necessarily at a properly designed roller rink.
Right. Everyone's talking about it. I don't know why we're doing this. Like the last time I went skating, I spring my wrist.
That I was giving their horse, and I was like, oh, I'm like, oh, I'm going to fall and nothing bad ever happened. So Erin and I go for a spin around the rink. We're on our maybe third spin and I fall. And I land on such a way that my left arm pops out of soccer.
Completely dislocated. Yeah. And I was like, she was off balance. Now, I was just kidding.
You're asking. OK, so this has happened before because it first happened to me in college and once you have something dislocated, it's much more susceptible to happen again. So it's happening like 10 times in my life. It always goes right back in.
So I'm standing there and I'm just like, I'm just going to wait for me to come back in. And then it's not going back in. And then I'm about to pass out because the pain is so bad. But every all the friends are stopping like, OK, I'm fine.
Because I keep going. Because I'm the worst thing in my life is for people to make a fuss over me. Yeah. So I don't like it's really fine.
I'm kind of good. And then I just continue to not be good. And so they're going back in. So they're going to be the ER.
They tried it after three times. I put it back in. They couldn't because it was like my body wasn't so much pain. It was resisting an extremely blame murder.
And so eventually they gave two seconds and nothing. Then they're like, well, we're going to put you under conscious the day she had, which is cheming. Oh my god. So yeah, then they were able to put it back in.
I had a great day. So it's just my back in. I'm fine. I'm back to like, I'm, that's all good.
I even worked out. I was like, I'm all good. I mean, the whole time I will say you were in great spirits. And I think I was taking it worse than you were.
Because at that point when you fell, I had put on my states and gotten out onto the floor yet. Because it was taking a while for everyone to check out and get all their things done or whatever. And I was a little nervous because I have it on stating sometimes a kid. I'm OK at ice skating, but I was still a little nervous.
Someone said it's actually a lot harder than you think and roll the glings easier and all that stuff. So once I saw the condition that Megan was in physically, I was like, I don't know why I'm going out there. It was scary. It was great because afterwards we did all go out and we were like, be having you and texting you.
And the ending Erin is getting updates along the way. Like as we progressively got drunk or throughout the night, I think you progressively got more medication from the time. We're all taking shots of wisdom. We're all taking shots of wisdom.
Very much. Different locations. And it's worse. Everyone just can't be careful out there.
I don't know. OK. Other than that, we did have a little bit of fun last week at the summer house season four premiere party. That was fun.
So the whole cast was there. And they were sort of posted up in this booth area of the party once the show started. And so you guys watched them watching themselves, which I found fascinating. Lover boy was featured heavily.
Yes. Everett was there in season one. So yeah. Yeah.
It was great. Darren Carp was there too. And he was sitting behind the show before. And yeah, it was great.
And they wanted to watch the cast watch things over. Because we talked about it on the podcast. Sometimes people hear what other people say in their interviews. And they don't know because this is the first time they're seeing it.
So there was a moment where I think Hannah called Kyle McDick because he was being a dick at that first dinner. And he looks like it was great. It was great. It was good to see everyone having good time.
It was like really cool. Kind of high end. The fourth part of our place called Bounce, which is in Chelsea here. But yeah, it was fun.
What else? The real house I was about going after show for me this week. Oh, yes. I watched some this morning, actually.

That was really cool. That was amazing. OK, but after all of that, we have a lot of shows to discuss. We have the premiere of Shaw's, which holy shit, below deck reunion part one, which also holy shit.
No. And we were having our time figuring out what we're in time about this. Because there were so many like, oh my god, my moments while watching the shows. Plus we're going to have interviews with Resa Faire hand from Shaw's.
So that's a really good one. And we have Hannah Burner and Paige to sort of open some house. And we were wrapping things up with Rose and Thorn. OK, the opening of Shaw's reminded me very much of the way last season of Beverly Hills premiered where it was showing you what's to come.
Between Lee St. Kyle, we saw their big throw down. You came here to call me on a lie. All of that sort of stuff.
It was kind of the same thing here. We saw what's going to be coming to season between MJ and Rose. But also, like, a look back at their friendship over the past season. I know.
Very sad. I try not to get too far ahead. Even if we have access to episodes, because then I get confused on what's actually happening versus what I already know to be true. But this was literally one that I couldn't stop.
So I've seen like eight episodes. Yeah, we're saying about it. I would wait ahead because at the end of each episode, I was like, well, I have to find out what happens next or how this ended. It's so good.
So good. I can't wait to hear your interview with Rose too. I love Rose for really just opening up and telling as much as he could without giving anything away to fans. I like saying the interview.
I'm praying for him to be in. I know. Well, speaking of Rose, I have to say at the beginning of the episode two, when he's with Adam and the backyard and they're trying to get it all together. It would have been so much of me and Danny.
And like the way we are in those kind of situations. They're over cleaning the house. When there's an activity like that, and they're like, you don't want us really want to be doing it. But we have to do it.
And you're just like, hey, no, honey, babe. Yeah, I'm the result. I don't know. Because I think it depends.
Because Danny is very clean. Like he likes to be clean. He's messy. He can leave things around in terms of the cleanliness.
He's like, I don't mean at first glance. You go deeper. It's another story. See Aaron tidies more often.
So he says, I don't do anything. But in reality, I'm the only one who actually cleans. Interesting. Like you can't just forget about the area under the couch.
It doesn't work. See, it's like for me, it's out of sight. I know. I'll just try to get the room under there as far as I don't know.
And then I was telling you a story about how they went to this person's house and their house was immaculate. Like every inch of it was just sparkling clean. And then they went into the kitchen and opened the microwave. And it was disgusting.
So I always think about it. Oh my god, Danny, always tell me about the microwave. I need it all to be clean. You don't want that moment.
Well, I wonder if that's also like, is that a cleaning person who just like for gone? Is it the maculate? That might be professional. I don't know.
Okay, Lex is pulling out. I'm just going to do it. What do you think of Nemus and ears? Okay, did you want to watch friends?
Yep. I'm just going to do it with RISE. Oh my god, they're that white. It's quite alarming.
And we had this video on brother TV.com. This interview with him. And he said he actually wanted them wider. And the best was like, no, that will be creepy.
It is just like RISE's teeth. Yeah, it is. I think it's like a black butt up to it. They would glow without questions.
Without questions. I think if I ever get one, I would want them to be like a little bit more of a natural color. But I think, you know, all the matters is that Nemo likes them. I feel like every season of Shaws starts in a similar way when you're catching up with everyone.
Gigi's always not talking to someone. And Mike is always a new man. Like he is the jacks of Shaws because it's like he's always reformed each season. Yeah, he seems like he's in a pretty good place right now.
I really like Paulina. I think she's giving me really good vibes from the very beginning, giving me a little bit of like a Kardashian vibe. The way she speaks kind of like just the way she her inflection and stuff kind of reminds me of like camera clothing or something. She reminds me of Lady Gaga.
Oh, interesting. Like room net lady Gaga. Yeah. Yeah.
Because you got to. Like Persian lady Gaga. I always seem to stand Paulina already because we're comparing her to like our favorite people. I think I also just take her more seriously because if you remember his girlfriend last season, she's just so young and just I don't know.
Paulina has kids. Like there's, she's an adult. She's making him step up his game more than I think he's had to or wanted to in the past. Can we talk about naked Jenga?
When I was in town, I was here having a poor gang. I was drinking. What do you think about this rumor? I am not surprised if it did happen because I feel like gays, you know, these things can happen at a least likely.
The naked Jenga or the cheating. Well, the naked Jenga. Like when you get a bunch of gay men together and they're drinking involved, somebody brings up this crazy idea to do naked Jenga and it might happen. How they get their heads, who knows.
I'd also understand the rules of naked Jenga is like if you knock it over, you take your clothes off or it's every time you take one out. So I've played like an adult version of Jenga like a party where like something's written on each thing. And like there were a lot of like take off and article of clothing. Yeah.
So I'm familiar with the concept. Right. Just for me, I was like that's such a specific rumor. Like it's like, oh, Adam cheated.
Okay. You know what I mean? Well, maybe. Yeah.
It was a little unclear to me if Reza maybe not that he knew about it, but he didn't seem totally surprised when they brought up to him. I know. Maybe he was just trying to really like say face. I never showed his emotions.
So I do ask him an interview like exactly what was going to your mind. So I'll go to the back. I say I want to tell you that's so rude. I want to know.
And I want to ask of course either we'll be together or we'll be apart. But either way, 100% whatever it is. I'm glad you guys are telling me. Thank you so much.
And I'll get to the bottom of it. I don't know. And we already know that they weren't a bad place at the end of last season like the other reunion. Yeah.
And I don't really know about Destiny's friend Ali. What is his motivation for sharing that information, especially with her, hoping that it would think that back. I don't know. You kind of have a question where the message is coming from a little bit and what that intention is.
But I think it's shady that this party went down at a time when Reza was not in town. You know, at their own home, like that seems kind of weird. Regardless of whether anyone cheated or anything that happened. Like it's just like it seems sketchy that happened at a time when Reza was not available.
And what Reza said was that this whole conversation with Mike and Destiny, the part that made him pause was when Destiny said you need to ask MJ about this and Jane knows all about it. Right. And there's a note that I think we'll get into that next week. Yeah.
I also have to say we'd seem to be doing GG some favors. Right. She was a completely different person when she walked back into that room after going out for a birthday route as a marijuana cigarette. Yeah.
I think that old GG disappeared and new GG came out. Obviously you would never smoke now. It's illegal here in New York. Right.
When you lived in LA, do you ever take it in that way where you're just like, I am so mad. I'm going to smoke one. No. It was just so embedded in the culture that was just like what you did at parties.
It was what you did like anytime really. But it is medicinal for those reasons. Yeah. You know, for having anxiety or whatever it may be.
It seems like GG has something that riles her up and whether it's anger management, she has whatever. It's obviously doing her good. And when you go to get a medical marijuana card in California, I was interested. I talked to Bobby.
I was like, oh, I'm sure it was hilarious. But he, you know, you go in and you say what's wrong. I'm not sleeping. I have to say that.
So you are prescribed the card before medicinal reason as much as they all pretty much know what you're there. So either way, I'm talking to you now. Last but not least, are Kelly. Right.
It's a pea out. It's a pea out. It's part of my eyes. It's part of my eyes.
But what I had heard is that it wasn't going to necessarily be so out there. It was the same as it was there. We're going to dance around this. I'm not going to do it.
Well, and I also, I think I was surprised because I thought she like casually dated it. It was like, I didn't know it was a relationship. Yeah. I mean, there's a lot there.
But I'm sure you're about. So I got the chance to interview Shazas on such a rise of fair hand. Since this new season is so explosive, I wanted to know if you needed a break from the group after filming. I also asked what it was like seeing MJ BravoCon and if he thinks the relationship can be repaired in the future.
Plus he shares what he thinks of the cheating rumors about his husband Adam. Here's my interview. What I'll put up, I checked one, two, one, two. What am I?
Hold that. I'm not going to be surprised. Thank you so much for having me. I'm just happy to be back.
I don't even know where to begin because this season is insane. Beyond. It makes me wonder after a season like season eight. Because I'm in meetings with producers who are so innocent about what happens and fans can sort of get a taste of what's happened from the supertees.
But it's so explosive. What do you do once filming? Do you just like to take a minute to decompress from this group? First of all, I didn't need a minute to decompress after season eight.
I needed a month to decompress. I am not only a Bravo Liberty, but I'm a huge Bravo Haulick. I've seen every season of every housewife's franchise. I watch almost every single show on Bravo.
My unbiased opinion is that this season will be the most explosive season of any Bravo show in history. It's more dramatic than Teresa's table flipping. It's more dramatic than Bethany Frankel and Joseren's Fallout. It is next level nuclear.
And it's just an action packed season. Lots of fun, lots of tears, lots of drama. It's crazy. Yeah.
I mean, I have to agree with you. I've seen a fair bit. It's just like, why every episode? Totally.
Well, let's start with this premiere episode where this sort of bomb is dropped on you at your housewarming party. Now you've watched the episode. Do you think Destiny handled it correctly? Highlight is 2020 and I, looking back, wish that Destiny had hit me up, taken me to coffee, sat me down for lunch, invited me for a drink and said, listen, bitch, there's no going down.
I just want to fill you in. I'm looking out for you. I'm worried about you and not use the housewarming party because everyone knows run season seven that I mean, I were working on our house. It took us a year.
We took it down to the sides. We literally tore half the house off. We spent a fortune. It was a little dream come true for us.
And I really wanted the housewarming party to be a night to celebrate with family and friends. And it turned out to be the night of all hell. And literally, it was the first domino in a series of dominoes that led to you, the demise of my friendship with MJ. And, you know, I don't even know that Destiny understood the gravity of what she was involved in.
What you think MJ did? MJ 100% did and I think that the audience as they watched the season played out will be able to form their own opinion of what happened. The crazy thing now is it doesn't even matter because we're all hurt. We're all in a state of loss.
Everyone lost. It was just a huge situation that in my mind could have potentially been avoided had everyone including myself handled it differently. I know it sounds super quick. I don't want to give a lot away because it's so crazy and unbelievable.
And I couldn't even believe it while it was happening. It was like being an FBI agent and trying to put puzzle pieces together and figure out what was going on in my life. I was losing my mind. Yeah.
But what would her motivation be to kind of go after your relationship? Like did something happen between season seven, season eight that we didn't know about? Or do you think it was maybe just like it would be a big deal? Like it would blow over.
I think it was twofold. I honestly think that at times MJ doesn't realize that there are people in situations that come into your life and you have to protect the people you care about from those situations. And just as soon as oh, Resa Storm key can handle this or oh, Resa will nip that in the side, but she had been nurturing something and watering it and taking care of the seed that literally led to the demise of our relationship. And my expectation was that she would be like, you know what, Resa's my best friend.
I'm putting an end to this now as opposed to her thinking that it's something that I would be able to just cut off at the pass. Yeah. When destiny and Mike said she down at the house, when we and tell you about this rumor, what immediately went through your mind? I love that you're asking me this question because it was twofold.
Initially, I was thinking, wait, did I have a chee on me? Is Adam having an affair? And then in the end, that's any put a cherry on the Sunday and she said, but you need to talk to MJ. And as soon as she said that, it was like, wait a minute, why would I need to talk to MJ about a potential rumor regarding Adam having an affair?
What does that have to do with MJ? And as I started to peel the onion away and get to the core, I was like, oh my god, this is worse than Adam having an affair. I wish Adam had played naked jingah. That would have been the best case scenario.
Yeah. Now looking back, I wish Adam had played naked jingah. Crazy. Yeah.
The good news is that the party Q and GG sort of make up. How are you guys today? This is going to sound crazy. If you had told me five years ago or at Austin's event where she literally ran in almost the tax me that in a few years from now, GG would be my rock and GG would be the only cast mate after Tommy came and vandalized our phone to say, listen, I know you're afraid.
You are packing bags and coming to my house for a week and I'm going to take care of you guys. GG stepped up in a way that I had never expected. I've never seen it brought tears to my eyes and I love and adore her so much that she, she really made one of the most difficult times in my life and my marriage without a little bit easier. I owe her a lot.
Yeah. Do you feel like she's already changing with this new baby almost here? A thousand percent. You hit it right on the head.
She has completely changed herself. She's been doing work behind the scenes that she hadn't been telling us all about dealing with her anger management, dealing with a lot of issues to get to a better place where not only emotionally and spiritually but physically, she'd be in a place to welcome a baby. And I can't wait to be there for her and try to reciprocate a little bit of how great of a friend she was to me in one of the darkest times of my life. Yeah.
That's so sweet to hear. Really. Like I'm all about giving props to my props to her and she really, really deserves it. Yeah.
I feel like Mike came in the season two sort of in a different place. Like he sort of wiped up and he's excited to be a stepdad. What was your reaction to that? It's really nice to see Mike in a relationship that actually makes sense with someone who he's compatible with, with someone who clearly loves him and he loves back very different than any relationship that we have seen in the past.
And the fact that Paulina brings kids to the equation is a beautiful thing because it has transformed Mike and it's made him softer, gentler and hopefully more dedicated to the relationship. I think it's a beautiful thing because, you know, it's no secret that he cheated on his ex-wife and they ended up getting a divorce. I think that because she has kids, he's more invested in the relationship. It's not just doing her dirty.
It would be doing the kids who love and adore him as well. Dirty. So he's more, not more. It seems like he's all in and I don't feel like he's willing to fold his hand.
I feel like he's going to see this thing through. Yeah. I'm very happy for both of them. I think that kids Adam sort of sets to you in the premiere.
Like, no, I'm not really interested in kids right now. But he has a surrogate to butterflies, which I find very sweet. He is a surrogate to butterflies. He is a mother earth.
He composted everything. He's got my mother who's in her 70s composting. He's got my sister composting and then they give us their compost at our pile. He's such a great guy.
He's really dedicated to getting to the next level in his career and it's ironic that he said to me that he wasn't ready because obviously as things started to go downhill with MJ and I was in no place emotionally or mentally to even consider having kids. Very, you guys know. We are rising from the ashes of the demise of the resident MJ relationship. We are a stronger couple.
We're communicating better. If there is a bright side to MJ and I falling out, it's that Adam and I were forced to communicate a lot more. MJ was my go to first phone call of the day, first text message of the day calling multiple times. She would give me advice.
I would talk to her about my relationship as would Adam. And so she was like our go to person and when you take that away, there's such a void. And I still needed that and luckily because of therapy and having a husband who really wants communication, it's forced me to open up a lot more and share with him a lot more. And so it's brought us a lot closer.
And I think that in the very near future we will start entertaining the idea of starting our family. I have to imagine you and MJ were forced to see each other. We were. I realized that the first interaction I would have with her would be at the watch what happens live, Roboconix, Robicanza and we were all backstage at the theater and I walked up to her and I said hi, I'm Jay, it's nice to see you.
And I had just got my teeth done. I was on cloud nine and she looked at me and said it's nice to see me as it. Is it really? And I was like, okay, not the time, not the place.
And I turned around and I walked away and I ran you in as later after we were seated in audience in the bleachers on stage. Mike turned to me and said she's the one that's already called this. and now she doesn't want to be friends and I looked at him and I went, is all of her anger focused on you or is everyone at this point? I don't think it's focused on everyone at this point.
I think she definitely has a lot of anger towards me and the funny thing is and it's not funny actually. The sad thing is she was pregnant. She was going through something and as it turns out you're going to see that she didn't have the love and support when she needed it. And I'm not going to say too much more on that but it wasn't just from me because I thought some sort of way.
I felt like something was going on. I couldn't put my finger on it but by the end of the season I do put my finger on it. But as you see everything play out, you'll see that wait a minute. Why wasn't everyone else stepping up?
Or other people sensing something as well and you'll be able to follow that too. So to answer your question, I can't even believe it. I still, I feel like it's a date line exclusive where people are like, this kind of thing never happens in our town. I never thought it would happen to me.
I feel like God forbid, I'm talking about a murdered relative. I mean disbelief, I can't believe this happens to other people in other places. It doesn't happen to me in MJ, but it did. Without getting into specifics or giving anything away.
Is there anything you want to tell fans ahead of time? Is there any part that you felt you played in the demise of this friendship? Of course, a fan reached out to me on Instagram and said, would you do anything differently? And my answer was I would do everything differently because I know what the outcome is.
And I hate that outcome. So if I could do things over again, would I do what I did? Absolutely not. I would do everything differently in the hopes that I wouldn't lose MJ as a friend.
And I did my best when I realized something was a miss to remove myself from the equation. And because of one of my friends who thought he or she might know better, I was put in a situation to prematurely deal with everything. And that led to the explosion and a domino effect, which then led to Tommy showing up at our house and calling me and threatening my life and calling the police and restrained mortars. And then it just got so big.
And there were so many other things to deal with that our friendship became irrelevant to both of us because I had a husband who was afraid he felt like, you know, could Tommy show up again. And we got very scared. And we started to just want to feel safe and secure in our own home. And our friendship wasn't a priority anymore.
And the bigger things got the less focus there was on repairing the friendship. And the more focus there was on dealing with the fallout of everything. Well, I feel like people are going to watch this season and still no matter what route you guys get back together. Obviously, my route is that we get back together.
My prayer is that we get back together. I pray nightly that God heals my heart further heals Adam's heart because Adam is not in a place where he wants to have a relationship with MJ or Tommy or Vida. And I don't know that I'm ready right now. I'm still very hurt.
I feel very betrayed. But it's getting a lot better. I used to be very angry. And I'm not angry anymore.
I'm just sad. And I feel a sense of loss. And my prayer is that, you know, God or whatever, high power, they believe in heal MJ and Tommy to a place where after the season airs and they see everything I said when I was angry and in the moment because the crazy part is the cameras were there in real time. So you got my raw emotion in the moment.
And I don't feel that anger anymore. I just feel love and loss. And I hope that because of time, because you know, their new parents that somehow their hearts are healed and after the season airs, after the reunion, we can start a dialogue about starting from a new, you know, round zero and building up from there. I'm going to pray for that too.

And it's not all bad. I want to stress that the season has no. Of course, these are hilarious. A lot of fun.
A lot of joy and there's a shift in relationships, but there's a lot of beautiful moments as well. Hello, deck. Oh my God. I was so excited for this reunion part line.
I'm just excited in general to see how these men of below deck are going to have answer for themselves. You need to not disappoint. However, some of their responses did. Right.
I mean, it really was a situation where it seemed like everybody, all the men at least, were there to apologize for something. Yeah. And they pretty much at some point got around to it. But some of their initial reactions when they were confronted with some of the things they did were not so good.
But before we even get into those apologies, the whole Simone thing was pretty crazy. Just in that, I would never want to be told that you were excellent at laundry. Like over and over that was that in a way that's just like, it doesn't. That's not great.
Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Like, I remember my dad's dad's dad's dad's dad's dad's dad's dad. And I don't know if this advice anyone should actually follow, but he wants that.
He's like, oh, God, yeah. And it just feels like she's been put and she was putting that box of like, wow, that's where you're going to be there. And I don't know. And just the whole, the talking about the sexual harassment from that charter gas and how hate's like life's worse.
And it's just, no, I've seen worse behavior from other charter gas over the years. She certainly should not have to deal with that. But I know I can handle it. Well, Simone called out money talks in this industry.
And I think that translates across a lot of different industries, unfortunately. And just with the current climate, with everything going on, it just feels a little icky that it wasn't handled in a bit of a different way by everyone on board. And to be like, I've seen worse, well, that doesn't make it right in any sense of it. But yeah, Simone was also just professionally willing to step more.
And she wanted to step up more. And it's not to say that laundry doesn't need to get done because on both that size, that is something that needs to happen. But she wanted to learn she was willing to grow. And you can't fault her for the experience that she had because you did hire her based on that experience.
But obviously she wanted that opportunity to grow and be able to experience more and do more and then be able to walk away from this experience with more knowledge. And if at the end of a job that you had, you had to sit down with everyone and talk about what happened. Like this is what they're doing as much as this is a show. It's like they were professionals together.
And you know, how many times do you think of an email or something you get from a boss or something like a whole thing? And imagine that was shown to them. Well, I just think about even in how I do run into former coworkers. And not all of them I liked were had great working relationship with.
But would never confront that because what is the point? You know what I mean? Obviously for the purposes of a low deck, it's very entertaining. And I'm so glad we get to get that would never be like, yeah, you know, you're a real bitch to work with.
I mean, the industry that they're in also is fairly small. A lot of people know each other. A lot of people are connected to each other somehow. So even just from a professional standpoint, like what if you need a recommendation?
It's like, well, if you're caught on camera calling your boss a bitch, like chances are you're not going to get a good recommendation. Well, then I was even just thinking about how at the reunion. I wonder if we're Vanderpomp, it's a little bit like this too. But it's like, you have to sit down with a person who may or may not hire you again.
Yeah. So like, are you really allowed to speak your opinion? But Ashton sure did. Oh my God.
When he asked Anthony, when's the last time you worked on the outside of the show? Yeah, I think he asked Kate first. And I was like, whoo, I was like, oh my God, now he's coming for Captain. And then I was sitting on a million, in the real industry in the real world.
About four years ago. Okay. And you're talking for the last 35 years. No, we lost one last.
And I think he was trying to prove a point, but I also didn't work. Yeah. They were like, no, we've worked on other boats. We have done other charters like this is not all we do.
And then he kind of made a weird comment that sounded like he was potentially threatening legal action. Yes, because... And he was all guessing. Oh my God.
So what they're saying is untrue. And if they're going to carry on the type of information, it's going to be interesting. And it's like bringing hot evidence. I'm working on my best, on my girlfriend's yacht.
All my girlfriend's best friends' yacht. And it's just like, not just he's working on the yacht. And by the way, it was just you were thinking to get your feathers ruffled about. The idea that he has the job he has right now because of his girlfriend.
Like some connection to his girlfriend. Yeah. Is that the worst thing? I mean, no, it was also not even close.
And they started to explain it. I got lost in how he was somebody. It was like how Andy said, does it matter? He's working.
Isn't that the point? Yeah. It just didn't even make sense. And I think it just fell apart as they were trying to explain it.
But I was in that moment when he came for, you know, came and kept thinking, I was like, oh damn. The knives are out as they say. Who did you feel like was the most aggressive? I really got uncomfortable with the conversation between Brian and Courtney.
Yes. I think he was getting a little aggressive, but trying to rein it in. Is so calm. And the fact that below the surface is this person who can text his ex and be like, you're a cold-hearted woman.
How dare you say these things? Like to the point of the shit block. I think there was a noticeable shift in Courtney. During this episode, then the girl that we saw on the show.
And I think you can tell she was really kind of rattled by this whole situation. And having to confront him like that in that setting, I think was really tough for her to revisit those emotions. And everything that she's done through since the show. Because usually you see her and she's a little bit more like, okay, I don't care.
And like, it doesn't really give a fuck. But like, she seemed really affected by this and having to relive it all. I mean, and Riley is a fiery woman. We know this.
We've had her on the show. We've seen her now in the second season. We've known Riley. She was even getting involved in mediating the situation between Brian and Courtney.
I think she felt like Courtney was nervous and uncomfortable. So she felt like, you know, I'm going to jump in and come to her defense and essentially I'm going to see if she really did her. So I was glad to see Riley do that, but she was also getting a little like. Yeah.
So the Kevin of it all in this reunion, I felt like he did not do a good job of taking ownership of how he responded to the, you need to step it up. Charter guys. Yeah. I thought he was wrong in that situation.
And I'm surprised he doesn't look back and see that. Yeah. But then there were other things that I do feel like he apologized for in a real way. And I like that Kate said to him, you're a really good chef.
Yeah. And he'll come to the meals for us. Because someone just starts knocking every single thing. It's like harder to take it seriously.
Hey, I respect you for this. But I don't approve of this. It carries more weight. And maybe those should have been more of the conversations that she and she haven't had throughout the season.
Like if they instill approached each other from a more positive standpoint. Like they even say when you're a manager and you manage people at any door, whatever. It's like the Oreo cookie technique. If you've heard of that, where it's like you do a compliment something positive.
Like whatever the middle thing is like the criticism or critique or whatever. And then you say like one more positive thing. So you kind of coat what you're confronting them about with positivity. Right.
Which I think that is a better approach. But in this type of work environment, like to Kate's point at one point in the show, she's like, you never know what's coming next. You don't know what's going to happen in the next three minutes. You don't know what's going to happen next three hours.
Like it's kind of a whirlwind experience from start to finish. So there's not always time to have those conversations. Does that make sense? Yeah.

Hannah, you were seeing our mom. It's not official. What was it like you guys coming into the house with somebody back home? I feel like it was kind of nice.
Like you feel like we're living your lives in the winter. We're not just waiting around until like f*** these in the hands of the summer. We were like, we're like proud that we had guys we're talking to. And it doesn't matter.
I feel like you guys are like, I was a little nervous coming in because I just know how rowdy we can get. But it was nice knowing like someone back in New York was like wondering what I was doing. Also Paige had been talking to Perry the previous summer. Like she would FaceTime him all the time.
I was like, I were talking to you guys. So I was like, best friend. And she was like, I wouldn't. And then you knew him for a while.
Yeah, we were friends for like two years. So her relationship had a lot more like, they could not work out comfortable. I wasn't just like, I sprung on some random boyfriend. I was like, I'm looking for the whole summer.
Yeah. Well, I kind of did that. I just started seeing my guy. And I was like, he had a he would go to a side car.
But like your relationship was a little more sturdy. Right. Did you feel nervous coming in because of your history of the car? I actually didn't.
Like it wasn't a factor really. And I feel like that's like a testament to my relationship with Perry. Like any other guy feel like, oh, you're going to like super house. Like some value.
But it was like a car. And also like the hung out car was during the winter. When Perry and I like kind of were always together. And it's more.
And Carl was in Pearson till like January. Yeah, like you're in a certain car like in February. I was in the party. I was in the party.
I was like, I think because you didn't have sex. I wanted to send him a real. So I also really close one. You were really there was no there was no penis touching.
So the pantry was all just kind of like, it was like a so PG. Like you know, good solid fun. Good solid fun. So it was a 50s movie.
You know, just because I just I just didn't want to. You know, I don't have an explanation. You know, there was an explanation. I think it's like you don't want to give yourself a big guy who's not giving you anything emotionally.
And you're not just trying to special something in the house. You're just like, I got a lot of pilot Amanda. I have the two of them set a wedding day. Yeah.
I'm, I'm, I'm out of my own wedding. So during the process, I'm like, I don't know how hard it is. Where's my, what? All right.
So we're going to have the two of them set a wedding day. Yeah. Yeah. That's our wedding date.
I know. I think I'm so like, I'm so not good at weddings. Like I try to avoid, I try to get close to people. I don't want to be the best party.
I've never thought of my own wedding. So during the process, I'm like, I know how hard it is. But you have to talk time. Right.
