Here’s My Heart

from Richard Shekari · host Richard Shekari

Here’s My Heart. Intro: You are my secret place, my faithful refuge; My strength, my shield, my only hope, O Lord. Verse 1: You shamed the world upon the Cross of loss, With arms opened wide, You made Your mercy call: “Come unto Me, My child — I paid it all. Dry your eyes, My child — go now, sin no more.” Pre-Chorus: Through Your blood, access to the Father was won; You broke the chains that once bound us all. Receive our praise — You alone we adore; Accept our hearts; let Your will be done. Chorus: Have my heart, take my all — here’s my heart, Lord. I surrender to You, Lord; take my all. I’ll worship You, O my God — here’s my heart, Lord. King of kings, have my heart; take my all. Verse 2: They lie in wait, anticipating my fall. They dug a grave, but it became their own. They sealed my road with boulders thick and tall, But Lord, You bore my weight and claimed me as Your own. Pre-Chorus: You said, “Press on, My dear child— Don’t turn, don’t look behind,” While the wicked choke within their snare. You said, “Fix your gaze on what is divine.” Copyright 2026 Richard Shekari Written, produced and performed by Richard Shekari.
