The book of Jude, though only one chapter in length, is a powerful indictment of false teachers that had begun plaguing the church 2,000 years ago and have become even more prevalent in modern times. Jude hits the issue head-on beginning in verses 3-4 and immediately encourages believers to contend for the faith because ungodly teachers have slipped in, denying Christ and perverting the gospel into a license for immorality. Jude has a message for those who teach you can be a Christian and live any way you want.
