Hero Sent Down After Clutch Night | Cleveland Guardians News

Khalil Watson had an electric night for the Guardians—doubling and making a game-ending diving catch—yet he’s being sent back to Triple-A Columbus, a move that stings despite the roster shuffle needed for injured players returning. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but Watson’s got the grit to keep grinding—and with rosters expanding in September, his return is almost guaranteed.
