The sermon was delivered on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister. SERMON DESCRIPTION On Sunday I will kick-off All Souls Summer Sermon Series on “Heroes, Heroines and Heretics.” The series will run from June 8 – July 27, and will include many different voices, including one national and one international guests. There are so many men and women, of all eras and cultures, who are not spoken about in places of worship and who are sometimes spoken about unflatteringly and yet who have done much to add to the progress of the human family and have aided the effort to achieve liberty and justice for all.
