Heroes on the Water

from Impact Outdoors Podcast · host Derek York

The outdoors is a place of healing to so many and Heroes on the Water was founded to help bring the outdoors to our military veterans, first responders and more. For those dealing with PTSD and other traumatic events they have dealt with in the line of duty, a day on the water in a kayak with a fishing pole and some new friends has proven to be a success for Heroes on the Water. This non-profit group has chapters all across the country and has been getting our heroes out on the water since 2007 when founder Jim Dolan started up the group. Laura Lindsey and Camille Null join us on this episode at the Hunt Fish Podcast Summit to discuss HOW and the history and successes of this great program.
