In HeroQuest: Barrow of the Beastmen – The Forgotten Crypt, Episode 1, the adventure continues beneath the Forest of Shadows. Following their desperate battle with a Beastman, Nuggy, Morgan, and Gjord—accompanied by the ever-faithful wolf Gary and Imperial guardsman Bob—find themselves trapped within a sprawling network of ancient catacombs. With the path behind them blocked and no hope of retreat, the party has only one option: venture deeper into the forgotten crypt in search of another way out. But these halls have not lain undisturbed. Strange echoes drift through the darkness, ancient tombs line the passageways, and the dead below are far from restful. As old horrors stir and fresh dangers emerge from the shadows, the heroes must decide whether courage or caution will see them through.
