In HeroQuest: Barrow of the Beastmen – The Forgotten Crypt, Episode 4, Nuggy, Morgan, and Gjord continue their desperate quest to escape the cursed catacombs beneath the Forest of Shadows. Joined by the loyal wolf Gary and the ever-dutiful Imperial guardsman Bob, the party presses onward through a realm seemingly abandoned by the living and claimed by the dead. As if the endless tide of restless undead were not enough, the heroes soon find themselves lured by a mysterious will-o'-the-wisp. But this is no wandering spirit. Guided by the dark will of Morcar himself, the malevolent light seeks to lead the adventurers into ever greater peril, testing their courage, resolve, and ability to resist its deadly allure. With ancient evil closing in from all sides and the promise of freedom still frustratingly out of reach, the party must decide which is more dangerous: the horrors they can see in the darkness... or the light beckoning them deeper into it.
