Kelly Tan is one of Malaysia’s most prolific sporting figures and is the only Malaysian with membership to the LPGA Tour, the richest and most competitive ladies golf tour in the world. Hailing from Batu Pahat, Johor, Kelly began playing golf at the age of 12, and by the time she was 20 years old, she won the Malaysian Open three times. As an amateur, she represented Malaysia in major golf events such as SEA Games, Asian Games and the World Amateur Championships. Her consistent play has awarded her many accolades in the golfing arena; especially when she prevailed at the grueling LPGA Tour qualifiers and earned her Tour Card at the finals of the 2014 LPGA Tour season.
