He's Seen and Done It All - Meet Mark Schuster, Founder of the Mid-America League

Mark Schuster has over 37 years of management experience at many levels of both affiliated and independent baseball. Mark and I discuss his time with the Durham Bulls one year after the release of the wildly popular Bull Durham movie. We also discuss how his time as general manager of the single A Burlington Indians taught him lessons in every aspect of baseball management that guide him to this day. Today, as founder of the Mid-America League, a collegiate summer wood bat league with teams in Texas and surrounding states, Mark tells of his plan to bring baseball to underserved communities and the excitement for the 2026 season.
