Heu-Heu, or the Monster Chapter 13 - The Terrible Night

In which our small band, veiled by mist and shadow, sets about a desperate and cunning stratagem beneath the watchful fires of a dread island, seeking to rescue a damsel bound in peril whilst eluding the vigilant priests and their inscrutable laws. Throughout the long, trembling night, we endure the rising flood and anxiously await the arrival of our lone swimmer, all whilst the wild forces of nature and superstition intertwine in a spectacle grim and unforgettable.
