Hey there, friends! Rosalie has commissioned the first episode of Hexed since October, and I am super excited to be getting back into this world! Also I'm happy to say that Atticus handles himself very admirably in a situation that could have gone so so wrong, and I'm going to give him some points back on that. A few things happen in these chapters, but one of the most important is Brighid proposing to him, and then immediately following it up with an attempt on his life. I wish that there was some sort of supernatural checks and balance system that would fuck her up for making trying to kill him while a guest in his home, but pretty much the only person to hold her accountable is her. And then there's the search by police who are really starting to take a keen interest in Atticus, and I'm not sure how much longer this "playing dumb" act can last. Like there's gonna have to be someone eventually who catches Atticus when his guard's down and realizes he doesn't talk like that. Plus later the weird priest and rabbi come in, and that's a whole other kettle of fish that I'm interested in. Thanks again to Rosalie, and I hope to see you all soon with a new episode!
