Hey Soul Sista!

We are back recording in Betty and it feels...awkward, hostile, like we were getting along better apart? Nahhh!! It's back to the good ole days of bickering back and forth! Ahh..it feels so right! Lisa has already put in a full week of activities and it's only Wednesday! Sam confesses that her Mom has made another delicious dessert...she did not share it but Lisa wants it for the Boom Baby Bakery, of course! Things are starting to get back to normal with restaurants and Gyms opening up in Saskatoon. Tims opens up patio seating but do we want to sit out in the middle of a parking lot? Kids will be going back to school in the fall and the audible sigh from parents can be heard everywhere! Lisa talks about the Rock and Sam mentions Costco taste testing. Lisa thinks she is Kelly Ripa's soul sister which prompts her to belt out Trains song 'Hey Soul Sister', its off key and she doesn't know the words but that's so Lisa! Sam gets her to stop singing when at the mention of Prince Philip's birthday! We get rolling as we talk about, young Elvis, scrambled eggs with ketchup, Jeopardy, a perfect TV day, Songland, Lego, Looney Tunes, the HHG, floaties, are condiments seasonal, new COVID food trend, vinegar, Krispy Kreme, Joe Exotic, George Michael, New Jersey, Megan Markle's and Beyonce's commencement speeches, Tan France and Bill and Ted 3. We have grand ideas about what we would do if we ran the TV networks. Lisa would make more biographies, add a serial killer channel and keep the cheesy Hallmark channel, for her sister of course! I want control of all the entertainment channels so I can abolish Wicked Tuna and Forge in Fire! Just kidding...maybe! It's just a bit of ridiculous chatter but it might just make you laugh!
