HHMI ~ Exile & Redemption From Exodus ~ Pt 7 ~ Judgments on Egypt Foreshadow Judgments on Babylon

Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now. Exodus 9:18 Here is an important Torah principle: What happened in Egypt foreshadows and is a prophecy to what happens in the future judgment on the nations and judgment on end of days Babylon. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Ezekiel 38:22 Another pattern we see in Exile and Redemption: AFTER the 10 plagues of Egypt occurs, THEN the children of Israel COME OUT of Egypt. That is a foreshadowing of the return of His remnant people who have been scattered to the nations, they return AFTER Yahweh judges the nations or He is in the midst of judging the nations. In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God. They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten. Jer. 50: 3-5 Notice this: FIRST Babylon is judged, and THEN His people are leaving Babylon. Torah principle of redemption: When the God of Israel redeems his people, all those who want to be a part of the redemption, He permits them to be a part of it. All the “whosoevers” who want to be a part of it may do so. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. Exodus 14:13 Torah principle of redemption: See the salvation of the Lord. See the “Yeshua” of the Lord. This foreshadows that during the end of days ingathering of the exiles of Israel, they will see Yeshua deliver them.
