HHMI ~ Exile & Redemption From Genesis ~ Pt 2 ~ Exile from the Garden ~ Exile to the Nations
from Hebraic Heritage Radio Podcasts · host Eddie Chumney
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Genesis 3:24 Adam and Eve were driven out of the garden, expelled, because of their sin. Adam and Eve being exiled from the garden of Eden foreshadows the exile of Israel into the nations of the world. The cost of disobedience and rebellion was (and is) VERY HIGH. EXPELLED and DRIVEN OUT to the nations of the world. All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters. Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations. Hosea 9:15-17 In this session, we also look at Noah and the account of his drinking wine in his tent and we will see how this foreshadows and prophesies to the exile and redemption of the children of Israel.
