We look at the promise given to Abraham and Sarah of a son coming from their own loins; a son who would become the seed for the nations. Abraham has been promised the following: And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” Gen. 15:4-5 The child of promise, Isaac, is a foreshadowing and a prophecy of the birth of a nation, the birth of biblical Zion that will emerge in the end of days (Isaiah 66:7-9).Yeshua will rule over Biblical Zion as the King of Israel.
