HHMI ~ Feast of Shavuot ~ A Change of Heart ~ Pt 1 ~ The Torah of Jealousy

In this teaching series we will learn: *The rabbis teach that the God of Israel married the house of Jacob at Mt Sinai. *The rabbis teach that the house of Jacob is like an adulterous wife unto the God of Israel. *The church was actually born at Mt Sinai and then “REBORN” in Acts 2. *We will learn about the original covenant that was given at Mt Sinai and the renewed covenant that is associated to the House of Jacob and Mt Zion. *We will learn what a stony heart is and we will study the parable of the sower. *Shavuot is associated with the renewed covenant and having a change of heart. The rabbis understand that there is a marriage relationship between the God of Israel and His people, the house of Jacob. In this session, we will look at what the Torah teaches about what happens to a woman who is suspected of adultery (from Numbers 5:11-31).
