HHMI - Hebrews ~ Pt 5 ~ Yeshua is the Mediator of a New Covenant

There are five major points that we can learn from the book of Hebrews: *The central message in the book of Hebrews highlights that Yeshua is our Melchizedek Priest. *It shows us what makes Yeshua’s Melchizedek priesthood unique. *How does Yeshua’s Melchizedek priesthood benefit a believer in Yeshua? *Through Yeshua’s obedience to the will of His father, and through His suffering He was brought to a place of spiritual maturity. *It is through Yeshua’s Melchizedek’s priesthood that a believer in Yeshua can be brought into spiritual maturity. This is brought about through the New Covenant, with the Torah being written upon our heart. In 1 Timothy 2:5, we see that Yeshua and His Melchizedek ministry, is our mediator between God and us. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 We can see this mediator role that Yeshua plays in Hebrews 9:15: And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.
