HHMI ~ Marriage Covenant Agreement ~ Pt 3 ~ Details of the Wedding Vows (Ketubah)

Let’s summarize what we have covered so far: *At Mt Sinai there was a wedding. Yeshua is the bridegroom and the house of Jacob is the bride. *A ketubah is a marriage contract between a husband and a wife. It states the terms and conditions of the marriage. *The ketubah between Yeshua and his bride entailed following the 10 commandments and the mishpatim (the details of the 10 commandments). *After the house of Jacob agreed to the marriage, it was ratified in blood and there was a wedding supper. *The mishpatim (the judgments, statutes, commands) are associated with the righteousness and justice standards of the God of Israel. *Because Abraham believed the covenant promise that was made to him by Yahweh, he was counted/reckoned as righteous by the God of Israel. Regarding keeping the marriage covenant, the ketubah, the Torah that was given at Mt Sinai, many have misinterpreted and misunderstood what Paul was teaching in Galatians and Romans. Paul does teach the Torah and did follow the Torah himself. First we are saved by grace through faith. Then AFTER we are born again, and have a NEW HEART, we are to follow the Torah by the spirit because we love Yeshua and we are to walk as He walked. In this teaching, we will look into this further. The Torah teaches that we need a savior. No one is able to faithfully keep all of the Torah, all of the terms and conditions of the covenant on their own merit and strength.
