HHMI ~ Marriage Covenant Agreement ~ Pt 4 ~ Covenant Broken and Restored

And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be your heir; but he that shall come forth out of your own bowels shall be your heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in Yahweh; and he counted it to him for righteousness. Genesis 15:4-6 The Torah teaches us, through the life of Abraham, that the way that we are made righteous is by putting our faith, our trust and our confidence in the God of Israel. After we receive Yeshua as our Messiah by faith, through grace, then we are to walk in His statutes, His commands, His ways and His Torah. We are to stand up for righteousness, love our neighbor as ourself, and if our neighbor needs help, we give it. We are to seek to relieve the oppressed, and help the poor and needy. In doing these things, we will receive a reward in heaven from Him. This is what the marriage covenant agreement that was given at Mt Sinai is all about. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. Ezekiel 33:13 If you are living a righteous life but you are trusting in your own righteous deeds/works then you will die in your sins. Beware! We must put our FULL TRUST in Yeshua to save us from our sins. The righteous acts will earn us reward, but it does not earn us salvation. Door #1: enter in by faith, trusting in Yeshua for salvation Door #2: love your neighbor as yourself, do righteous deeds, to receive heavenly reward.
