HHMI - Melchizedek Priesthood ~ Pt 10 ~ Parable of the Prodigal Son

The Northern kingdom was unfaithful. The Southern kingdom was unfaithful. What about the Levites? For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. But ye are departed out of the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the Torah. The Levites failed also in their duties and responsibilities. Who is going to redeem this unfaithful people? It will be heaven’s Melchizedek priest, Yeshua the Messiah. He is going to be a faithful Melchizedek priest unto His father, faithful to His people. He will be faithful in giving the Torah, teaching the Torah, showing us how the Torah is to be followed. He is going to be willing to lay down His life to serve others and to redeem the family and to bring restoration and reconciliation to the family on behalf of the Father. In this session, we will look at the parable of the prodigal son. The two sons are Ephraim and Judah. Joseph/Ephraim is given the birthright blessing. The younger son (who represents Ephraim) demands his inheritance. He then squanders his inheritance. Ephraim is the prodigal son who departed from Torah (his father’s house). Because of unfaithfulness, Ephraim was cut off from the covenant. Ephraim is prophesied to be redeemed and become ‘sons of the living God’.
