The Northern Kingdom was cut off from the covenant. Who is going to redeem the Northern Kingdom, the kingdom of the firstborn in the earth? The only way that this kingdom can be redeemed is that Heaven’s Melchizedek priest had to come to the earth to redeem them. The Northern kingdom, who walked in darkness, will see a great light: Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Isaiah 9:1-2 What was that great light that they saw? It was Yeshua the Messiah: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 Yeshua’s ministry was in the Galilee. His ministry is to redeem the firstborn, Ephraim. Yeshua dies to redeem the firstborn. Yeshua is the redeemer of Israel.
