The body of Messiah is to be kings and priests in His kingdom. You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Yeshua HaMashiach. 1 Peter 2:5 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 1 Peter 2:9 By repenting of our sins and accepting Yeshua as our go’el (redeemer), He establishes in His Kingdom a body of Melchizedek priests who have the position of firstborn and king / priest. As a body of Melchizedek priests, we are able to rule and reign in His Kingdom and on the earth. As a body of Melchizedek priests, we are commanded to be faithful in our service unto Yeshua and His Kingdom. In being faithful to Him, we are to follow His Torah by His Holy Spirit. If we are unfaithful in our service to Yeshua, we will lose eternal rewards. If we are faithful in our service to Yeshua, we will rule and reign with Him in His Kingdom.
