The Passover is known as the Festival of our Freedom. The historical Egyptian redemption is a prophecy and it is a PARABLE about the end of days. There is a parallel. The historical Egyptian redemption is a prophetic template pointing us to another future redemption that is to come. According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things. The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. Micah 7:15-16 The Passover teaches us about Yeshua our Messiah. Yeshua is the Passover lamb who takes away the sins of the world. The Passover blood of Yeshua redeems us from sin. There is a command that there is to be an explanation of the Passover during the Memorial service. This is known as the “Passover Seder”. And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. Exodus 12:26-27 The Passover Seder is meant to explain the events of Passover in fulfillment of the commandment. Seder means “set order”.
