We are to live holy and set apart lives unto Yeshua. Paul taught this in 1 Thessalonians 4:1-2: Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Yeshua, that as you have received of us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more. For you know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Yeshua. Faith comes by hearing and then obeying the word of God: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 Paul also wrote this about faith: For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor 5:7 Walking by sight is walking according to our five physical senses and it is based on the logic of our carnal mind. Walking by sight is walking according to what our flesh wants to do. We are NOT to walk this way. Instead we are to walk in faith, and be faithful to the God of Israel. This gets built up in us by studying the Torah. We are told that Abraham walked in faith: Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know you therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
