Listen in as Eddie continues to lay out a foundation and framework for revealing to us that one of the central themes of the New Testament is the role of the Messiah to gather the exiles of Israel and unite the 12 tribes of Israel. In this session, we learn that Isaac, the miracle child of promise, is a prophetic picture of the nation of Israel. Many Jewish scholars and Talmud sources agree that Isaac was born at Passover. This is a picture of the redemption of Israel, as the theme for Passover is redemption. Isaac is the miracle child of promise, even as secular Zion/the modern state of Israel was born miraculously in one day. (Isaiah 66:8). The visitation of the future will correspond to the visitation of the past. The Lord “visiting his people” is code for redemption. In this session, we will understand the significance of the word “visit”; that this word is telling us that when the Lord visits his people He is getting ready to redeem them out of their captivity. (Exodus 16:3, Gen. 50: 24) Both the past and the future redemption will take place at Passover. We see that both Isaac and John the Baptist were born at Passover. Passover is linked with redemption. Redemption is associated with the God of Israel “visiting” his people. Yeshua died at Passover. In this session, we will also look at the ministry and message of John the Baptist and Yeshua our Messiah. We will learn what it is and what it means.
