Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say? So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”John 8:3-5, 7 This woman who has committed adultery is a spiritual picture of the exiles of Israel or the House of Jacob. They committed spiritual idolatry/adultery by breaking the marriage covenant at Mt Sinai by committing adultery against their bridegroom, Yeshua/Yahweh. Yeshua is going to die on the tree to forgive them of their sins. He will be offering forgiveness of sins to the entire world if they will repent. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We all have broken the covenant, we all are adulterous before the God of Israel. Yeshua says to the adulterous woman, “Go and sin no more.” Decoded, this means: "Repent of your sins, follow me, and follow my Torah." It is Yeshua’s ministry to gather and unite the 12 tribes of Israel. The ancient breach/kingdom split between Rehoboam (king of Southern kingdom) and Jeroboam (king of Northern Kingdom) will one day be healed and the kingdom will be restored to Israel with King Yeshua ruling and reigning over them. The Torah will be taught from Mt Zion (Isaiah 2:2-3).
