HHMI ~ Two Houses and NT ~ Pt 22 ~ The Dry Bones of Ezekiel 37

from Hebraic Heritage Radio Podcasts · host Eddie Chumney

For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain. Acts 28:20 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Ezekiel 37:11 In Ezekiel 37, we see a landscape of scattered dry bones. The Lord asks him, “Ezekiel, can these dry bones live?” He answers, “Lord, you know.” Then the Lord tells him to prophesy to the dry bones. Who/what are these dry bones? They are the whole house of Israel, all 12 tribes, both Northern and Southern Kingdom. What is the hope of Israel? It is that the scattered bones, the exiles of Israel, would be gathered together and reunited. We see this happening with the bones, a great shaking: “So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.” Ezek 37:7 In this session Eddie covers the following: *Ezekiel 37 dry bones ~prophecy of the gathering and reuniting of all 12 tribes *Hosea 1 and 2 ~ the names of the children of Gomer/Hosea are a prophecy of God’s judgment on the Northern kingdom/the House of Israel *1 Peter was a book written to the Northern kingdom For more Eddie Chumney teachings and beautiful worship music, visit us at our internet streaming radio station; http://hebrootsradio.com Visit our home page at http://hebroots.com Are you being blessed by these teachings?
