HHMI ~ Yeshua From Gen to Rev ~ Pt 4 ~ Who is the House of Jacob?

You shall call his name Yeshua. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Luke 1:31-33 The House of Jacob is who Yeshua made covenant with at Mt Sinai (Exodus 19:3). The House of Jacob includes all 12 tribes, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The House of Jacob was divided into Northern kingdom and Southern kingdom at the kingdom split described in 1 Kings 12. This is pictured as an olive tree with broken branches. The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. Jeremiah 11:16 Why are the branches broken? For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel AND of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal. Jeremiah 11:17 Yeshua DIED on the tree and shed His blood so that these broken branches could be GRAFTED back in to the olive tree of Israel. Yeshua is the ROOT of the tree. Both WILD branches (Northern kingdom) AND NATURAL branches will be grafted back in. That is how the broken branches are repaired/restored: And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a WILD olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree; or if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much MORE shall these, which be the NATURAL branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
