There was a wedding proposal that was made at Mt Sinai between Yeshua and his covenant family, the house of Jacob: And Moses went up unto God, and Yahweh called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel. Exodus 19:3 Here is the proposal: Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. Exodus 19:5-6 And the people said, “I do”: And all the people answered together, and said, All that Yahweh has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto Yahweh. Exodus 19:8 There are two stages to a biblical marriage. In the first stage, you are legally married but you do not legally dwell with. This is betrothal. Mt Sinai was the betrothal stage. The second stage of the marriage is where you physically dwell with. The marriage of Yeshua to His bride will be consummated during the Messianic Era when Yeshua returns to physically “tabernacle” or “dwell with” his bride.
