HHP81 - The Lessons That Hit Different When You’re Actually Building
from Hustle Hour Podcast · host Marcus Sciulli
Last week, I shared some of the biggest lessons I took away from Invest Fest. But the more I thought about that experience, the more I realized something: sometimes you don't understand the lesson when you first hear it. You understand it later—when you’re back home, back at work, looking at your business, your finances, your goals, and realizing that the person you were before the event can't be the same person who builds what you say you want. In this episode, I go deeper into the lessons from Invest Fest that stuck with me. Not from the perspective of someone who has already figured it all out, but as someone who is still in the arena—working a 9-to-5, building businesses, making mistakes, taking risks, and trying to create a life where I ultimately own my time. Because Invest Fest wasn't just about investing money. It made me think about investing in myself, my skills, my businesses, my relationships, and the person I need to become to actually build the life I keep talking about. This is the second part of my Invest Fest experience—and some of these lessons hit a lot harder once I got home.
