The price of precious metals are rallying this morning off the combination of a weaker dollar, lower interest rates driven by a rally in bonds, and the continued pressure of central banks buying gold. Silver in particular is outperforming, after lagging it's yellow cousin for much of the last year. Platinum is also rising sharply after lagging gold.
