She views activism as any action that one can do consistently in order to better oneself, one’s community, and one’s relationship with Allah (SWT). After spending two years pursuing premedical studies at Montgomery College, Hidaya decided that she no longer wanted to pursue medicine and became a pharmacy technician. Now, she is an aspiring attorney and is working through the transfer process to finish her undergraduate degree.
