We’ll also explore how community urologists are navigating these rapidly evolving standards of care, the future of precision bladder cancer management, and what it means for patients facing this disease.We’ll also discuss bladder-sparing approaches, including Adstiladrin® (nadofaragene firadenovec-vncg), an intravesical gene therapy for adults with high-risk Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG)-unresponsive NMIBC with CIS, with or without papillary ( https://www.adstiladrin.com/ ).ADSTILADRIN should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to interferon alfa or its components, and individuals who are immunosuppressed or immune-deficient should not handle or receive the therapy. Delaying cystectomy in patients with BCG-unresponsive CIS could lead to development of muscle invasive or metastatic bladder cancer, which can be lethal. If patients with CIS do not have a complete response to treatment after 3 months or if CIS recurs, consider cystectomy.The most common adverse reactions include urinary discharge, fatigue, bladder spasm, urgency to urinate, and blood in urine.
