Hidden Characters of Christmas: Elizabeth

The nativity story is one that is well known.  We have heard it so often we often gloss over the details of the story.  Mary, angels, Bethlehem, Shepherds, baby Jesus.  We know all the characters.  But behind these leading characters is a cast of hidden characters.  Hidden because they seem insignificant to the story.  In reality, though, their stories are just as important as the lead characters.  Elizabeth, John the Baptist, Joseph, Herod, the Maggi.  The lessons we can learn from these characters is every bit as important as those we can learn from the leading characters.
