Hidden Jams #CATHELIJN
from Hidden Jams Hosted by Hidden Jams
Wow! Hidden Jams #6! Sold out and cosy in Torpedo Theatre, Cathelijn filled the space with her beautiful voice, leaving the audience in awe, even requesting (and getting!) an extra song at the end. Cathelijn is a singer-songwriter who loves to get lost in thoughts and language, searching for the places where feeling and words don't quite line up. That movement between getting lost and finding her way is normally brought to life by her five-piece band. Following the release of her second album Colour Me In, in which atmospheric indie sounds intertwine with the warmth of soul and the intimacy of a living-room concert. At Hidden Jams, she plays that world on piano alone, to get a little closer to that intimacy and closer to the place where it all began. Thank you to Cathelijn & Torpedo Theatre, and of course everyone who came and supported!
