Hiding

This episode is also available as a blog post: https://imnotgoood21blog.wordpress.com/2022/12/05/hiding/ "Hiding from cold, hiding from rain, Seeking to drown away all the pain. Where are they from, and where do they go? All on their travels they fail to find home. Who caused them hurt, who took their joy, Who threw their innocence away like a toy? Why do they accept their ills like a barter, Why do they accept the life as a martyr? Who had them raised just to seek death, Who had them take drugs more than a breath? When will they find a place to call home, When will they discover self-love like a poem? What will it take for them to find peace, What will it take to show them the dream? How does it end if they fail to look up. How does it end if they itch to hang-up? Where does it start, where does it end, If all of us people always pretend: The world at our feet will always be here, And our own world of troubles will fail to appear?"
