Hierarchy: Good or Bad?

In corporate America in recent years, we’ve started to hear about this idea of flattening the organization. To those unfamiliar, this is the idea that rather than a top down organization, everyone runs on a more egalitarian basis of management. In theory this sounds really good. But the more I learn about how the best organizations are run, the more in love I am with hierarchy. And wouldn’t you know it, the Bible has a few things to say about this all important topic as it relates to our daily lives, our corporate culture and leadership in general.
