Hieromartyr Alexander of Comana and Martyrs of Saint David Gareji Monastery

Today we remember Hieromartyr Alexander, Bishop of Comana, a humble man who embraced poverty and was chosen as bishop for his pure heart and holy life. We also honor Martyr Gerontius and his fellow monks from Saint David Gareji Monastery in Georgia, who suffered martyrdom during raids in the 19th century. Their stories remind us of faithfulness in the face of hardship and the power of humility and courage.
