high eyes
from ambient nightscapes with tomasito
"High eyes" is a colloquial term used to describe the physical appearance of someone who is under the influence of cannabis or other drugs that cause redness, dilation, or droopiness of the eyes. When a person consumes cannabis, one of the common side effects is bloodshot or red eyes, which can give the appearance of being "high" or intoxicated. This redness occurs because cannabis can temporarily lower blood pressure, causing blood vessels in the eyes to dilate. Additionally, cannabis can also decrease the production of tears, leading to dryness and further redness in the eyes. The term "high eyes" is often used humorously or casually to refer to this visible sign of cannabis consumption. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/tomasito-asito5/message Hosted on Acast.
