It’s estimated about 8 percent of Americans are taking GLP-1 medication of some kind to reduce their appetite and lose weight. But how is this health-conscious trend affecting the nation’s dairy industry? While protein-heavy products like whey are still in high demand, products like butter and ice cream could be in trouble.
