HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: ELB honors its senior class

ELKTON, S.D. — The Elkton-Lake Benton boys and girls basketball teams celebrated “Senior Nights” on Tuesday, Feb. 10 and Thursday, Feb. 12, respectively. ELB’s Gella Jones, Jocelyn Prosch, Charlie Thooft and Payton Kuehl were honored during Tuesday’s 54-38 victory over Baltic in non-league play. “These four girls work hard,” ELB first-year head coach Mallory Babb said in an email to the Pipestone County Star. “They are truly committed to the program, and make an impact.
