HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: SW Minnesota Shootout July 15-16

LUVERNE — Local and regional high schools are set to participate in the Southwest Minnesota Shootout on July 15-16. This marks the 18th annual event, which draws teams from several states. The Pipestone girls are set to compete in a pool with Rapid City Christian (S.D.), West Lyon (Inwood, Iowa) and Western Christian of Hull, Iowa from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15. The Arrows first play Rapid City Christian at 8:45 a.m., followed by Western Christian at 10:15 a.m. and West Lyon at 11:45 a.m.  The Pipestone boys will compete in the 12:30-5 p.m. block versus three schools...
