HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Gawerecki returns to Arrows as line coach

Recent Dakota State University graduate Seth Gawerecki has joined the Pipestone Area Schools’ football coaching staff.  “I approached coach (Scott) Boomgaarden,” Gawerecki said of how his hiring transpired. “I reached out to him to see if there was a spot available.”  As it turns out, there was.  “Seth is ‘super’ passionate about football,” said Boomgaarden, in advance of the first practice set for Monday, Aug. 17, “and that’s what I look for in coaches.” Gawerecki played offensive line at DSU, participating at both the varsity and junior varsity level.
