Highest advisory level for toxic algae issued for Mantua Reservoir

A danger advisory issued July 8 for Mantua Reservoir remains in effect after testing detected harmful algal toxins at levels that pose a risk to people and animals. The advisory was issued after testing found "the algae is producing high levels of dangerous toxins," the Bear River Health Department said.
