Highway 50 Journeys

Episode #38 of the Nevada Magazine radio show features respective interviews with Richard Moreno, author and former publisher of Nevada Magazine, and Jeffrey Lehmann, host of the "Weekend Explorer" television series. In the show's first half-hour, Nevada Magazine Editor Matthew B. Brown interviews Moreno about his recent trip across U.S. Highway 50, known as The Loneliest Road in America. Moreno is working on an article for Westways magazine, documenting his geological tour of the route, which will be published sometime next year. In the show's second half-hour, Lehmann also talks about a recent trip across Highway 50. It was a familiarization tour hosted by the Nevada Commission on Tourism.
