Or if Peterson talks about morality that comes and he says that morality is deeply Christian in the Western culture. And I was wondering, I was thinking about that because he, in France, morality is a linked religion, I don't know, where in the US there's a legitimate, like a debate in the game here that if you're an atheist, can you build a new morality? Can you know that kidding people is bad? Are doing any type of vice?

It's bad depending on the vice of course. But I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that some people in the US, like that just because you didn't believe in God, meant that you also had no morality. And so I thought about it and I disagree with Peterson. I love to run Peterson and I agree on a lot of what he has to say, but I disagree with what he has to say about morality and about the fact that if you're a atheist, you're really kind of, I kind of disagree with what he says about when you're atheist, you're just religious, you haven't discovered it yet.

Because I came to a realization that he talks about too, and I don't know if I heard it before I came to that realization or not, but he was talking about how people that are necessarily atheist religious or religious still have a God figure. And I remember I thought of this like two years ago or a year ago, that there's always like we have a celebrity, most people have a celebrity, or someone or their parents that could God figure to them, that they hold to a bigger standard that they assume knows more than they do, and that they look up to and almost try to imitate. And sometimes then, and I think he's right in that regard. But in terms of morality, and I may be misinterpreting, some of what he has to say, but in terms of morality, I don't agree with him, because here's how I see it.

Again, I may be completely misinterpreting what he says, but he says that our moralities are deeply rooted in Christianity, and I disagree with that. I disagree in a certain sense because if you look, I think if you look back far enough, it's Christianity with rooted in the morality that arose from our human aspects. And I'll explain what I mean by that. What I mean by that is when they were tribes, and this is speculation.

This is what I thought. When they were tribes of people, just tribes of just undeveloped humans, I'll say I can't. I don't know the specific name, but homo sapiens, I'd say, or the early stages of that. There were small groups of humans that had to work together to get food, to survive the winter, and to have just a bunch, just to survive in general.

And I think what happened is a lot of homo sapiens realized at some points that they had to work together to, I'm going to close right here. So, okay, sorry, I had to take a phone call. So I think there were tribes that had to work together to kind of find a way to survive. And what happened is they realized that you can't just murder each other.

You can't just steal others' property. When you work in a group, they realized that there's a responsibility that you have and if you don't respect them, the other people in the other homosal sapiens will turn on you. And so I think morality, I think when people like Peterson talk about morality in the Christian sense and the Bible sense, it's ignoring the fact that before the Bible, it must have risen in certain types of morality that led to the morality in the Bible. If that makes any sense.

And I really don't get it. I understand where he's coming from. I really do. And he obviously is more educated on this object than I am or will ever be if I don't read on it.

But I still think he makes a humongous mistake in narrowing himself in that religious framework. Although I agree that religion is more than just believing in God. I think you can be religious in the nadiest. Religion is following us, I feel.

Religion is following a set of beliefs and doing so consistently. That's where you can say he does something religiously. He works on something religious and he's super at the piano because he works. He practices religiously.

And my navigation address crashed. And so although I think he limits himself by saying that morality is Christian and I hope I'm not misinterpreting too much of his stuff. But I think he limits himself by saying that it all comes from religion. Because when people hear that, we might not think of what comes before religion.

If that makes any sense. It's not just morality that didn't exist and proved the Bible came around and there was morality. And it's not that there wasn't morality either. When the Bible was created, it made sense in my head.

I think that's basically what I wanted to say. Again, if you're American and you're a Christian, Muslim, whatever. I really love learning about religion and I don't even consider myself a atheist. I don't like to say I'm a atheist because although I don't believe, I don't think I believe in a god in the mainstream Christian sense.

Or even the Muslim sense. I hope that's the correct word to say it. I'm open to the idea and I'm open to the idea of something external. But I'm going to make another recording about a sense of purpose and how that is linked to what I think God, how I interpret that.

But that's basically it for this. I hope it wasn't too confusing. I've been rambling for eight minutes. So if you're hearing this, thank you for listening.
