So I've been thinking a lot about the fact that I hear most of these Christians who use the sense of purpose to Prove or to say that it's proof of God if there is one. So a sense of purpose. I just wasn't for a second And I think I don't view purpose the same way To me purpose doesn't fit it cannot prove that it cannot prove that because we have even if we had a purpose of our species had a purpose To me it does not prove at all that God Force exists that created us. I think that is that when we say that we interpret purpose.

I think as something kind of humane as something a human version of purpose as we exist to accomplish something and It doesn't make sense to put that definition of purpose on a force that would be God on the force that external and so powerful That it created everything and especially humans and why because we are complicated creature if there is a God and an external force That created us it created a lot of things that created us created morality which is incredibly complicated it created both a sense of right and wrong in us and When on top of that sense of right and wrong it didn't just do that it made it so that if you look close enough at issues You can question your own sense of right and wrong like this is a God that created a world That's so non-binary that it can question the very it's a very existence God's very existence And so because of that and because the sense of right and wrong and everything that that got created is so non-binary I think that the sense of purpose or the purpose of every purpose that humans was created or created or that I don't think that is binary to and what I mean by that is I don't think purpose in this sense means Destined to accomplish something I think it means that you have a purpose to accomplish multiple things And have a purpose to also not accomplish any of those things Which and I'm seeing how there can be loopholes in that argument is because in saying that Human purpose is the possibility to accomplish things you can say that that is one purpose in itself But I still I still don't think so because The possibility to accomplish or not accomplish anything is just it is not what people think of when they say purpose I feel like whenever really I would I would hear something like this is that the probability of being a human It's so small and we are so incredibly complicated With minus to survive on this earth for so long and therefore that means that we are here for purpose because if we Managed to live for so long and this very little probability in the entire universe that you can't explain that without us being here for purpose and They would say therefore that explains God but first of all I would I would disagree because saying that because we have because Purpose in the sense of we have to accomplish something or mental accomplish something if you're gonna say that because we're great Well, this is a sense of purpose. That means that God created us an external force I think that's that's humanizing and Personifying that's what personifying an external force where I think in the total force greater than us would not be would not just Create us for a purpose. It would be way more complicated than that if if an external force greater than us was to create us It would be a kind of personified. I just like to personify it But I think that if an external force created us it would create the possibility for us not to have a purpose and not and not to Realize we don't have a purpose and to realize we don't have a purpose and to have a purpose and to not I hope that's making sense and so First first they would say that inside would disagree.

I would disagree on that it and then they would assume that because they say The way of thinking is that if you agree that we have a purpose that means there's God because you can't be led to probability and I think that's false, but I Think that's awesome. I think I lost my train of thought, but I think it's very misleading And it's not it's not that I don't want to vilify my goal It's not that I'm open to any ideas. I love talking. I love talking about just ideas in general But to say to me that you're having conversation with people you're sitting based you're assuming that you agree with another person on Certain basis I can't think of an example, but for example when people say Again the sense of purpose I've been talking about this for two long like it's been six minutes or seven minutes But when people say because we have a purpose something created because no When someone says because we have a purpose there is a God because our species as a whole has purpose there is a God You're assuming and we do this in conversation for everything You're assuming that the person agrees that we can't have a purpose just With probability like we assume that the person would think yes our species couldn't have survived for so long just randomly By and by not having a purpose because we have a purpose and it's a virus because we survived for so long I've been happy purpose and an external force created that and I just Again, it goes back it goes back to this Personified original God that I just I can't seem to agree with if God created us then God is way more Insanely powerful and bigger than us in a way that we can't imagine That's and we first try to find God you can see it when you say the father because the image of God is a masculine one and Once you start putting gender on force so great With that if you say that God is a male you're automatically gonna start putting your own ideas of what a human is on to God and Human ideas meaning also flaws human flaws that humans might have and and human traits and God being graceful and God being fearful and are not careful, but I hope that's making sense that I don't think if God exists that it can be I don't think it can be that I don't think if God exists that it would necessarily care Care in a human sense if you do something wrong.

I think that if God exists it means an exone I know some religious thing like think like that. I just don't know exactly which ones that if God exists an external force that operates within you And if you do something wrong, it you will feel but God That lets you murder someone In Christianity if you murder someone and this is kind of rough I'm not too too teller Christianity that if you murder someone God will be mad at you and it's really to repent your sins I Don't think I don't think in my opinion that that that's that would be true I think that if God existed he wouldn't be angry that you murdered someone but since he would operate within feel kind of the force that created you manifesting itself and you would interpret that as a human you would interpret that as Someone else being bad at you or as as you feeling bad that you did something terrible and I think there's a huge difference being a force Interpreting interpreting that force as emotions and an external force being mad Because when you say an external force is mad at you. I think that's just a projection of our emotions whereas whereas if you interpret an external force as Within you as certain emotions that's just a more about you that it's not a force. I'm not sure I hold that made any sense This isn't this is even longer than the last one.

I'm not gonna edit them This podcast is just it's just basically an archive when I'm when I'm 60 or something kind of look back You know how I could have programmed I have progress with my speech or my ideas I doubt I doubt this will be heard and I don't blame anyone It's just kind of a mental dog. I tried I try my best to kind of structure it I appreciate for anyone who listens to any of it But it's a way for me to structure my thought by speaking it out loud and trying to make it understandable for third party because When you think about stuff man, you think that it makes sense and then you start to talk about it And it's just it becomes a mess. I'm like so abstract because a huge lesson you realize that can't can't think constructively until you at least verbalize some parts of your abstract ideas It's really really tough But I hope that makes sense. I love to hear about different ideas I just signed up I came back from college orientation I just signed up to a think it's a Christian church and a Fundamentalist because I just it sounds interesting.

I want to know where other people are coming from I don't necessarily like to say something is wrong like the fundamentalist Christian church The guy the nice and very friendly to like very energetic and friendly But he was talking about how they're talking about like the Bible He didn't he doesn't think that the Bible and modern sites and stand together like he obviously didn't believe in the pollution I kind of was looking the Bible How in the Bible is described kind of I guess Deep on the evolution but he said that there were people from many different beliefs like into this church and To talk to talk it out in the skies and still be friends at the end and although I'm not sure that I'm assuming you've stunned with truth And I hope so because if that's the case people from different beliefs really good to a church I really want to check it out and just talk to I think it was a vision for the mentally talk to them about their ideas Because I think just just talking you know, I'm gonna talk for a little more This is gonna be a longer episode. I'm just I feel like talking about I feel like talking right now I'm talking about mine. I think that when you talk to ideas that you might think are preposterous. You are opening up your mind Structuring your own ideas better what I mean by that is you're thinking a certain way and I imagine it as a highway and You are thinking a straight line like there's there's a road No longer terms of that pro and there are exits to the highway, but you don't you don't really think about them You're going straight and there might be an exit that's going to a town in the middle of nowhere that you don't care about And so you never take that exit and so you continue on that free way thinking That's like that's the freeway leads to where you need to go and those little times that those exits like those little times You don't care about those because there's a little time that I don't care about right and when you talk I think when you talk to someone that you think is wrong or you think is close-minded or you think has an opinion That's just wrong even if actually wrong You're letting yourself drive to those little towns and the thing about the highway is it's a great way to get around this Right way to go from city to city But a little town to the little town to the middle of nowhere Can offer something that you can not have in a big city like a culture or a certain like certain little restaurants That all fast food on chains.

They're just like that just open up your mind to I'm going way too far with that analogy But basically I think that by going off to those little towns taking those exits you open up your mind to the possibility of there being something more And then understanding literally going into that state of mind into the state of mind It is close-minded and exploring it and once you go in those so to go back to the analogy Once you get into those villages those little villages also have rose within them that go to other little villages or other big cities That you might or might not have heard of in other words When you're on the highway and you decide to go into a little town that represents an often a way of thinking That that little town is connected whether whether you know it or not that little town has rose even if it's urban or Rose they have roads that eats other places whether it be cities or nature and Until you visit those little villages until you go out of the way to go there You will never know where those little villages and you might even find that if you're going to a city like to a Paris You're taking exit on the highway You're going to this little town this little town might have a road that needs to Paris in other words The ways of thinking that using your clothes minded we have way more common ground with your own beliefs than you may know I think that's incredibly important because we're especially in our times we think we're related to think that If someone doesn't agree with you That an atheist in the Christian fundamentalist cannot have common ground that a Muslim and a Christian cannot have come And that what I'm seeing is that when people realize that you don't think like them I think it's why I don't want to get political but I think it's more the radical left It's some of the right to it's a time for knowing it's believing like every side now Actually, that's the right but anyway, so I want to talk about that Men like when you say when you let someone know or not even little like when someone sees that you don't agree with them on They're led to think of as an adversary and it's a postress because whether you whether or not even on big ideas you agree with them You might still have common ground with them and come around on that one ideas that are pretty big like murdering is not okay like stuff like that people take for granted but Still having having common ground on that makes you realize that the person next to you really isn't that different from you? And so what I'm getting at is to go back to the analogy if you're if you have your Ideology that you even might think is it is the free way to get to your city Could take go to the North town because the highway might be The fastest way to get to your city you might think but if you take an accident which is a little town you might realize that taking the Rose Might be like make you arrive to the city even faster Whoever you want to go or the little town's night hide another highway that you completely disregarded and never heard of it I hope that analogy makes sense. It doesn't my mind But I know that since in mind doesn't mean verbal eyes or makes sense that also Anyways, I do again I doubt anyone will listen to the end of this and I don't blame anyone for that doing that because it's freaking long And I talk about last stuff like it's not into what oh yeah purpose, but in my
